OMG! Amber Tamblyn is expecting a baby girl with husband David Cross
A huge congratulations is in order for Amber Tamblyn and husband David Cross because the happy couple are expecting the first child together — and it’s a girl!
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star revealed the big news in an Op-Ed piece she wrote for Glamour magazine. After bravely and openly penning a letter about an encounter with an abusive ex-boyfriend in response to Donald Trump’s infamous and awful comments about sexually assaulting women, the 33-year old wrote:
"I've been thinking about motherhood a lot lately. What it means to be one, what it means to have one, what it means to know one, what it means to make decisions as one and have conversations as one. Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon. I'm pregnant, with a daughter on the way."
OMG! The couple must be absolutely ecstatic!
And like any expecting mother, Amber has some concerns about the world she’s bringing her daughter into and how important this election year is.
"I think constantly about the world I am bringing her into. How much do I have to do, as a daughter and a soon-to-be mother, to change not just the conversation about how women are seen, but the language with which conversations are spoken in?" she wrote.
We’ve got to say, she has a solid point there!
We think she and David will make excellent parents — congrats again, you two!
