Amber Tamblyn defends Donald Trump against body shamers – but she has a point

Over the course of the last couple days, naked Donald Trump statues have been popping up in cities across America and while most people greeted the art installations with a laugh, actress Amber Tamblyn had a very different reaction and we have to admit, she has a really good point.
The 33-year old actress posted a photo of the naked Trump statue to Facebook with a sign covering his, um, man goods that reads, “Shame me for my behavior, not my body.”
Tamblyn wrote in the caption, “Body shaming is never okay, even when it comes to Trump.”
She then goes on to say, “These statues aren’t art: They are a lazy, unoriginal concept, stolen mind you, from Ilma Gore’s painting which already made this exact same point earlier this year. This is wholly unoriginal and uncreative.”

We totally get where Amber is coming from here: what good is it going to do to shame someone for their appearance when we should be questioning their behavior instead? Regardless of the fact that, yes, okay, it IS Donald Trump, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants alum took a stand for a greater concept that we can definitely get behind.
