The Sisterhood just grew by one, Amber Tamblyn is a proud new mom!
A million happy congrats are in order: Amber Tamblyn has just given birth to a new baby girl, and we are grinning ear to ear just thinking about it. Just imagine how much her BFFs/Sisters are freaking out right now.
Amber and her husband, David Cross, announced they were expecting back in October via an article in Glamour. In the story, Amber discussed all things mothers and daughters, along with the currently political state of the nation and what it means to be a woman — and this all led into the reveal that she was expecting, and expecting a lil’ baby girl.
"I’ve been thinking about motherhood a lot lately. What it means to be one, what it means to have one, what it means to know one, what it means to make decisions as one and have conversations as one. I am very lucky to be surrounded by strong mothers, from my own mom to some of my best friends—those who are raising young women to accept themselves and those who are raising young men to accept women."
Beautiful wise words, and we’re so excited for Amber to share them with her new daughter. Flash forward to now, and Amber is now a proud new mom herself. Announcing the birth via Instagram, Amber writes #TheFutureIsFemale.
We’re so happy for Amber, David, and their new little one (name forthcoming…we think). Now someone please start planning the most epic Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants playdate for all the little ones running around (looking at you, James and Ines Reynolds).
