Amber Rose set the haters straight after they called her 3-year-old son gay for wearing a wig

Please don’t come for Amber Rose or her son. She absolutely won’t stand for it. That said, she has our complete support and admiration for setting fans straight for calling her 3-year-old son gay for wearing a wig. On Wednesday, Rose posted a photo on Instagram of her son Sebastian sporting a wig with long, two strand twists. It was, needless to say, freaking adorable.

He’s smiling, looks to be enjoying himself and having total kid fun. Instead of commenting on how irresistibly adorable he is, some of her followers felt they needed to inform Rose that her son wearing a wig means he’s gay.

WTF?!? Honestly, awful behavior like this is probably why multiple celebrities refuse to share pics of their children on social media, and we can’t say we blame them. The impact social media has on mental health obviously was the last thing on the minds of some of Rose’s fans, but fortunately, they picked the right mama bear to set them straight.

“I posted a picture of Sebastian playing with my wig earlier and all the comments are saying that my son is gay,” Rose responded in a Snapchat video. “He’s 3. So everyone that’s commenting, do me a favor, go put a wig on your boyfriend, or your daddy, or your baby’s father, and then see if they turn gay. Then let me know. Oh, they didn’t turn gay? Wow! I’m so confused because I could’ve sworn you just said wigs make men gay? I don’t know.”

“Your sexual orientation has nothing to do with the way you dress,” Rose added.

Thank you, Amber. Why you still have to explain this to people is completely baffling, but we can’t praise you enough for doing it.
