Amazon’s Alexa can now provide you with a “baby-making” playlist, and we have questions

Since this amazing technology came into our lives, managing every day tasks has gotten way easier. And we just heard that Amazon’s Alexa wants to help you make babies, and um…still processing. Because it was easy to get on board with placing Starbucks orders through Amazon’s Alexa and learning to use the useful features like setting custom reminders and multiple timers, but baby-making music?

If you’re currently imagining smooth jazz, you’re kinda right on the mark. According to TechCrunch, Amazon can now find and play music for up to 500 “activities,” and for love-making, Alexa offers jazz to get people in the mood. All you have to do is request it (you just need an Amazon Prime subscription, or access to Amazon Music Unlimited).

You can literally ask Alexa to play “baby-making jazz music” or “hooking-up music” and it will deliver the goods.

Kinda creepy…but not really that different than playing sexy tunes from Spotify. Except that Alexa knows what activities we’re engaging in, and when.

This feature is still in the early stages, so we’re sure that as it advances, Alexa will become even more skilled at picking music based on genre and mood.

All in good time, all in good time.

TechCrunch notes that the most popular request that Alexa users have is for de-stressing music. That makes sense; we live in stressful times, people.

Alexa, we’re starting to forget what life was ever like before you, for better and for worse. Now excuse us while we go test out this new feature…for research purposes, obviously.
