Amazon’s grocery store is so futuristic, it involves basically no humans or check-out lines

Remember when self checkout lines were the fancy, new modern way to buy groceries? Well, apparently we’re about to hop into the future, because Amazon has created grocery stores, and they’re going to be *beyond* anything we could’ve imagined. Yep. We already knew that Amazon was adding actual stores to their offerings, but Amazon’s grocery stores, Amazon Go, are taking things to an entirely different level. Like, what will Amazon’s grocery store even be like IRL?!

So how does Amazon’s grocery store, called, aptly, Amazon Go, work? According to Business Insider,

"The idea is that Amazon's machine-learning technology can automatically identify when a product is added to your cart, so you don't have to do it yourself. When you leave the store, Amazon automatically charges your Amazon account."

Like, whoa. We seriously can’t even imagine! Talk about futuristic AF, Amazon.

Just watching the promo vid has us feeling all the feels.

After all, we do secretly love grocery shopping, and a new way to shop is something we’re always down to try. We just hope this goes more smoothly than those self checkout lines that always leave us flustered and embarrassed!

So when can we expect Amazon’s grocery stores to come to life?

According to Amazon, Amazon employees already have access in their Beta program (oooh, fancy), but the stores will open for the rest of us in early 2017!
