Amanda Seyfried’s fiancé just said the most adorable things about her as a mom

There’s cute and then there’s what Thomas Sadoski said about his pregnant fiancée Amanda Seyfried on Friday morning, which is almost enough to get us back on those godforsaken dating apps.

On Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show Harry, Sadoski addressed his relationship with Seyfried, whom he began dating early in 2016 after they met filming The Last Word. They’ve been engaged since September, and announced two months later that they are expecting their first child.

“I’m more excited to be a father, with Amanda as my partner, than I’ve ever been about anything in my entire life,” 40-year-old Sadoski gushed.

I spend a lot of my time looking at this bump that’s growing inside of her just thinking, looking and talking to that child and going ‘You have no idea how lucky you are to have a mom like this.’ She’s incredible. I couldn’t be more proud of her for who she is as a mom already.

(And for what it’s worth, their baby’s knitwear is going to be on. point.)

Sadoski also admitted that he has his fears about fatherhood, saying he’s excited, but “also terrified.”

“I’m not going to sit here and pretend like I’m cool enough to believe that I understand that what’s getting ready to happen to me,” he continued. “I don’t know what’s coming down the pipe, but I’m thrilled and terrified and all the things I sort of feel like I should be and I don’t have any clue what’s going to happen, I can’t wait.”

At least Sadoski and Seyfried don’t need to add planning a huge, lavish wedding to their to-do list. The actor confirmed that he and his bride were planning a low-key, intimate affair, echoing what the Mean Girls star told Vogue Australia in January.

“I don’t want to be the centre of attention,” Seyfried said. “I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time. I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown designed by Riccardo Tisci; I’ve played a bride a billion times.”
