Amanda Seyfried opened up about becoming a mom and why she just doesn’t care about a fancy wedding

So it’s a new year, and many people have grand plans to make it count. But even though Amanda Seyfried is becoming a wife and a mom, she doesn’t want anything to be over-the-top.

In her February cover story for Vogue Australia, Seyfried talked about her impending nuptials with fiancé Thomas Sadoski, and what she envisions the wedding will be like.

"I don't want to be the centre of attention. I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time. I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown designed by Riccardo Tisci; I've played a bride a billion times," she said.

via giphyIt’s kind of true, she has donned the white dress quite a few times, and she’s even channeling the bridal spirit in the upcoming movie, The Big Wedding, alongside Robert De Niro and Katherine Heigl. And we love the idea of flying under the radar in her personal life! No one should feel pressured to have a fancy wedding if they don’t want to, and at the end of the day, the most important thing that matters is the commitment.

And Seyfried’s pregnancy has also been pretty low-key, but the actress is up for the challenge of motherhood. She admitted to Vogue, “I’ve never been so excited by anything in my entire life. And ready.” And we couldn’t be more excited for HER!

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at Seyfried on the set of her Vogue cover shoot, which we are also super excited about…is 2017 gonna be a big year for this girl or what?!

Wishing all the very best wishes to Amanda as she embarks on this exciting new stage of her life.

We can’t wait to meet her little bub! Okay, okay. Getting ahead of ourselves! One step at a time.
