Allison Williams’ hairstyle last night is proof she would have slayed in Old Hollywood
Hair can make or break an outfit. When you get it just right, the feeling of intense satisfaction and glamor is reaffirming in all the right ways. When you get it wrong, well, that’s not as fun. Thankfully, in the camp of the former is Allison Williams, whose blonde waves are giving us major old school Hollywood vibes. Think Dita Von Teese meets Marilyn Monroe and you get Allison’s stunning look, which she wore to the Diane Von Furstenberg Awards at the United Nations in New York. Considering the environment, Allison’s #aesthetic is totally on point.
Allison wore a DVF dress to the event; with the fitted bodice, off-the-shoulder neckline, and slight mermaid silhouette, this dress is almost as stunning as Allison herself. The black and white piece was finished off with some black pumps, a bright red pout and of course, the perfect Hollywood curls. The graphic bodice of the dress helps the piece feel more modern than it would otherwise. So, while Allison still looks old-school fabulous, she definitely doesn’t look dated.
On her Instagram, Allison divulged that awards are one of her favorites nights of the year, which we love because she looks like her best self. Besides the graphic dress, soft waves and red lips, she also has the slightest cat eye and precisely groomed brows which really help pull the whole look together. All in all, Allison looks like a Vixen in all of the best ways.
