All of Jerry’s Girlfriends from ‘Seinfeld’ in One Photo

There are many reasons to love the internet: cat videos, TV show recaps, friends, Twitter and it goes on like this on the ‘ol Information Superhighway.

But now I have a new reason to love the internet and it is in the form of a terrifying photo.

Artist Richard Prince tweeted a photo the other day calling it a “composite of all of Jerry Seinfeld’s girlfriends” and noting that “there were 57 over the course of the show”. Whoa.

I don’t remember Jerry Seinfeld dating what looks like the baby of Jan Levenson and Leelee Sobieski, but whatever. It’s a pretty amazing picture and, more importantly, makes me want to see this done for every fictional character. What would all of Rachel Green’s exes look like in a composite? What about Carrie Bradshaw’s? You know what I mean? Like just start putting Barry’s face with Paolo’s with Ross’s and try not to crack up thinking about the result.

But this Seinfeld photo couldn’t have come at a better time because today is Mr. Jerry Seinfeld’s 59th birthday.

(Side bar: how many times do you think he’s been referred to as “funnyman Jerry Seinfeld”? Probably a million times, right? I’d guess a million.)

Even though Seinfeld went off the air in 1998, Jerry Seinfeld has not left our side. I love his cameo on 30 Rock, I still reference Seinfeld constantly and, if you haven’t watched his webseries Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, you are missing out.

I can’t scroll through tumblr without encountering Seinfeld screengrabs and images and quite frankly, I can’t drive to work without seeing a Seinfeld billboard announcing the many times it re-airs in syndication.

So happy happy birthday to the man who gave us the gift of Nothing.

And maybe don’t blow out the candles naked, that’s “bad naked” for everyone.
