Achieving the right look for a movie premiere is no doubt harder than it appears, but Alicia Vikander nailed it with a simple blue floral dress at the Light Between Oceans Londonpremiere. Remember when she slayed in a sparkly silver dress at the premiere of Jason Bourne? And when she rocked the Oscars red carpet in a glitter dress? Yeah, she’s at it again!
With minimal jewelry and makeup and a simple, elegant hairstyle, Vikander’s dress was given free reign to take center stage. She wore it confidently, looking right at home in front of photographers on the red carpet.
Damn, girl!
The simple, yet classic cut? The scoop-neck? The hint of sparkle with those earrings? We’re in love with this look!
Oh, and not to mention, this has been a great year for Vikander in general. Her career pretty much catapulted since her heart-wrenching performance in The Danish Girl, and she was just cast as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider! Clearly, sky’s the limit.
On the relationship front she’s still going strong with Michael Fassbender, her costar in The Light Between Oceans, so yeah…things are pretty swell for this Swede. And of course, her sweety was by her side at the premiere.
Ugh — we’re digging this look SO much! And after Katy Perry’s stint with floral embellishments earlier this week, we’re seriously in the mood to get ourselves something flowerly (fall be darned!)
