Alicia Keys just made all of our mermaid hair dreams come true. The Voice judge and Grammy award-winning musician took to Instagram on Wednesday to debut her new mermaid-inspired ‘do. Alicia Keys rocked a set of rainbow-dipped braids in a straight-from-the-sea look.

Each braid dyed its own unique hue, the magical tresses combine to create a colorful waterfall of light pink, hot pink, electric blue, and fuchsia. Add a little of Keys’ natural brown hair tone to the mix, and the eye-catching look pops with vibrancy. Just when we thought Keys’ voice kept us falling in love, this enchanting hairstyle has us hooked!

But this is isn’t the first time Keys has served up some rainbow mermaid realness.

But Keys’ fresh approach to fashion and beauty doesn’t stop at hair. Last year, the singer got a lot of attention for her decision to embrace a no-make-up lifestyle.

On her reason to appear in public make-up free, Keys wrote in Lenny Letter, "'Cause I don't want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing."
