YAS: The ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ poster looks incredible

We are SO excited to go back to Wonderland.

Disney’s giant fan convention, D23, is going on right now and it’s dropping so many awesome goodies on us, like, two brand new posters for Alice Through the Looking Glass. Even though they’re both teaser posters, and reveal next to nothing about the movie, we’re obsessed.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is a sequel to 2010’s Alice In Wonderland, and both Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska are reprising their roles as the Mad Hatter and Alice, respectively. They’re also the two featured in these brand new posters. One’s got Alice, dressed up in her Wonderland best, while the other features the Mad Hatter — or it’s probably the Mad Hatter, seeing as how his back is to us. But who else would wear a giant hat like that?

The two find themselves balancing out on some clocks on an endless sea. What does it mean? Probably, time travel. Alice Through the Looking Glass will follow a bit of the classic Lewis Carroll, but this is going to be an “all-new new tale that travels back to Wonderland — and back in Time.”

Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway are back for this new movie, too, both reprising their roles as the Red Queen and White Queen, respectively. Tim Burton isn’t directing this one (sad), but he’s still on board as producer. So, we should still be excited for a little madness.

Alice Through the Looking Glass drops into theaters on May 27, 2016.
