Alexis Ohanian just shared the sweetest, most intimate video of Serena Williams’ pregnancy journey

Having a baby is a wild, exciting ride. That’s why we’re so glad that Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian posted a video of Serena Williams’ pregnancy — while we got a glimpse of it before through social media, it’s good to see such touching footage of bringing a new baby into the world.

Williams gave birth to a baby girl, Alexis Olympia, on September 1st. One of the reasons why we’ve been following her journey (aside from our extreme love of the tennis champ) is because Williams seemed completely real through the whole process.

She admitted earlier that she doesn’t know much about babies, which is quite relatable for a brand new parent. Surely she’ll learn along the way.

Ohanian’s video quickly climbed the charts on YouTube — and we think it’s due to the fact that there’s so much love in his video clips, from the first ultrasound to the grand arrival. It’s also pretty thrilling to see Williams’ bump grow as the pregnancy progressed.

"It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got — we got a baby girl!" Williams says in the footage.

While we’ll be watching this video over and over again, the most important thing is that it’ll be such an incredible keepsake for baby Alexis.

"Our little girl is already mama's perfect sidekick," Ohanian said.

Newborns are a lot of work, but we’ve got a feeling that Ohanian and Williams are going to be such incredible parents. Baby Alexis is so lucky to be surrounded by so much love, and we can’t wait to see what fun adventures she’ll get into throughout childhood.
