Alexis Bledel talked to Jimmy Fallon about those final four words, and her four favorite “Gilmore Girls” characters

What do you do when you’re on the most talked-about television show? You appear on The Tonight Show to promote it, of course! Last night, Alexis Bledel talked to Jimmy Fallon about the final four words in Gilmore Girls, and we’re so happy to hear her input on her character’s dialogue.

Be aware, while this won’t list the four words in question, some might find it to be a little bit spoilery. (Fans, we’re proud of your patience if you’ve been waiting to watch the revival, but we’re hoping that you fire up your Netflix account soon to catch up!)

Fallon, a new fan of the show, does his best to keep these words hidden from his audience, but can’t contain himself when talking about that powerful last minute of the show, and the impact it had on the audience.

It turns out that Bledel was aware of the last four words from the start of the revival. “She kept it to herself until the very end,” she said of creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

She admitted that after learning, she was shocked. So, it’s good to know that Bledel was right there with us. Surely she had no idea in earlier seasons that her character would have the type of future that Rory Gilmore ended up having. If it was so powerful for us, just imagine how powerful it must have been for Bledel!

But, here’s some positive news. Bledel played along with Fallon to name her four favorite Gilmore Girls characters. Here they are:

She lists off Caesar (hey, an underrated one!), Babette, Miss Patty, and Kirk. Kirk has to be included, right? Especially after the revival.

It’s also pretty cute to see Fallon get so worked up over the fourth season.

Unfortunately, she didn’t spill as to whether or not we’d be getting more Gilmore Girls. It looks like that’s a decision that still has to be made by Amy Sherman-Palladino, and Netflix. But, fingers crossed that the show goes beyond those final four words!
