Alexis Bledel is all for another “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and so is Jimmy Fallon
It looks like we’re not the only fans ready for more Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. In fact, Alexis Bledel is all for another Sisterhood movie and so is Jimmy Fallon!
On Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show, Bledel stopped by to talk all-things Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, including her top four characters, but what we can’t stop thinking about is her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants news.
When asked about a third movie, which would obviously have to have Bledel reprising her role as Lena, Blake Lively as Bridget, Amber Tamblyn as Tibby and America Ferrera as Carmen, Bledel said she’d love to do it.
"We would all love to do it," Bledel told Fallon via Entertainment Weekly. "I think it would be so much fun. We talk about it. I think we should absolutely do it. We're working on it, so we'll see if it happens."
“We’re working on it?” OMG, we can’t contain our excitement over this possible third Sisterhood film.
Fallon also freaked out about the possibility adding in a few ideas for the story. At first he proposed a third movie that had an all-male cast including him (duh), Kevin Hart, Paul Rudd and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Who do we need to talk to in order to make this movie happen? It sounds fabulous.
On a more serious note, Fallon explained that maybe the pants would be with the daughter’s of the four best friends in the future movie.
"I seriously think you come out with a third one, you guys are all talking to each other, you’re older now, and you go, 'Wait, who has the pants?'" Fallon explained to Bledel. "Maybe someone's kid is wearing the pants, maybe someone’s mom is wearing the pants. Maybe it’s been put on a scarecrow and turned into a horror movie."
We don’t care what the storyline is as long as the four original ladies come back and that it actually happens!
What would you want to see in another Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie?
