Alex Trebek rapped Drake lyrics on ‘Jeopardy!’ last night, so life isn’t all bad

If Drake’s song lyrics aren’t a part of your lexicon, we regret to inform you that you’re officially ranked below a game show host on the hierarchy of cool people. Alex Trebek rapped Drake’s “Jumpman” on Jeopardy! last night, so life isn’t all bad. Honestly, we weren’t so sure after hearing Trebek sing Rihanna’s “Umbrella” as a clue but thanks to his satisfactory Drizzy imitation, things are officially looking up.

Everyone knows Drake lyrics make perfect Instagram captions, but as it turns out, they’re even better in the form of a Jeopardy! clue. Trebek damn near flawlessly delivered these “Jumpman” lyrics: “This Canadian rapped, ‘Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, them boys up to somethin’/ Uh, uh, uh, I think I need some Robitussin.’”

We won’t hold it against Trebek for omitting a single “jumpman,” because spitting rapid-fire rap lyrics can be challenging for the unseasoned. However, we will watch this clip again and again because it’s simply golden.
