“Rogue One” star Alan Tudyk got yelled at by C3PO…a bunch

Ever wondered what happens when a Star Wars actor from Rogue One and one fromA New Hope get together? One will totally be yelled at, that’s for sure. Star Wars: Rogue One actor Alan Tudyk proved this to be true when he dished on his latest interaction with Stars Wars veteran Anthony Daniels.

Tudyk, who plays the robotic K-2SO in Rogue One, had a bit easier of a filming experience than when Daniels played C3PO in A New Hope close to 40 years ago — and Daniels didn’t hesitate to let him know that.

The Rogue One actor totally got yelled at by the legendary Anthony Daniels!

Tudyk stopped by Conan and shared how he was cussed out by Daniels when he visited the Rogue One set.

"Anthony Daniels went on about the suit that he had to wear and that 'originally they put screws in my head and they closed it' and he had to be on this thing," Tudyk said to O'Brien. "He said, 'Wait a minute, are you wearing an actual robot costume, or are they doing it in motion capture?'"

And Tudyk’s reply of “motion capture” was candidly met with “You sh*t” from Daniels.

Tudyk ran into Daniels at the premiere, and asked the veteran to deliver notes on Tudyk’s performance in the film. And that’s when things got even more interesting.

"And I saw him at the party afterwards and he came up and said, 'f**k you,'" said Tudyk.

We can totally imagine why Daniels felt a little envy towards Alan Tudyk’s motion capture privilege. That C3PO costume looked to be pretty brutal…
