In ‘AHS: Hotel’ news, this might be the best cameo yet
The next chapter of American Horror Story is now filming, and Ryan Murphy has been teasing us with all sorts of juicy details. The biggest little tidbit so far is that AHS: Hotel will somehow connect to the other seasons. There’s actually a theory out there that all the seasons of AHS are tied together — and it’s true — and while we’ve seen bits and pieces of it happen, Hotel will feature a HUGE connection.
Brace yourselves, because Hotel will take us back to Murder House. Literally and physically.
Entertainment Weekly’s upcoming cover story is all about the brand new season of AHS, and ahead of the issue hitting stands, EW is teasing little bit of information. According to AHS mastermind, Murphy, for one episode of Hotel, “We do go to the Murder House.”
How and why a field trip to Murder House takes place, we don’t know — along with not knowing when Hotel takes place and if, when we show up at Murder House, we’ll find Ben and Vivien Harmon inside. Murder house did take place in Los Angeles. And now Hotel Cortez is located in Los Angeles. Interesting.
And that’s not the only link to season one. . .
There’s also a character from the first season making an appearance again: Realtor Marcy (played by Christine Estabrook, who reprises her role). According to EW, Marcy shows the titular Hotel of Hotel to fashion designer Will Drake, played by Cheyenne Jackson Does she then take him over to see the Murder House?? Also, what kind of Realtor has an actual HOTEL on their listings?
Murphy offers up a little bit more information about how the seasons are connected, but it’s still not a lot of information. “We’re just beginning to tell you how they’re connected. They’re all very separate but there’s clues every season that we’re now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined.”
So get to work, AHS fans. What do Murder House and Hotel‘s Hotel Cortez have in common? Besides, you know, our total obsession with both of them.
