Agent Carter is headed to Old Hollywood, we’re too excited to function
Have you guys seen the first season of Agent Carter? If yes, yay, join us in our eternal devotion to Peggy, Jarvis, and all things 1940’s Rosie the Riveter “We Can Do It!” feminism. And if not, get thy binge-watch scheduled and catch your butt up!
In the first season of the show, set in 1946, Carter balanced her day job working at the Strategic Scientific Reserve in NYC with her nighttime vigilante work, trying to get Howard Stark (AKA dad of Tony “Iron Man” Stark)’s intense inventions out of the hands of baddies.
In the second season, Peggy’s going bicoastal, making the move to Los Angeles to “fight against the new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II,” and taking on “her most dangerous assignment yet.”
“But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect,” the press release promises us.
Peggy + old school Hollywood glam + danger= all of us being WAY too excited for the show to return for a two hour season premiere on January 5, 2016! In the meantime, check out the first trailer for the new season below. Lights, camera, Carter!
