Aerie teamed up with the All Woman Project for their most honest and beautiful campaign yet

Girls run the world, and that’s why we can’t get enough of Aerie’s collaboration with the All Woman Project. Aerie, the intimates retailer we know and love, never retouches their ads, so it only makes sense that they partnered with the All Woman Project for their latest campaign.

The mission of the All Woman Project is simple, “to represent women as they are. Never retouched. Always beautiful.” Started by models Charli Howard and Clementine Desseaux, the project aims to dismantle the narrow and negative portrayals of women in media. By featuring women of all backgrounds and body-types, the All Woman Project is sparking a movement encouraging women to embrace their own beauty. And of course this same ethos matches Aerie’s vision quite perfectly.

Shot by Heather Hazzan and Lily Cummings, the campaign features woman of all colors and sizes wearing Aerie apparel, in all their beautiful, natural glory.

The campaign features everyone from #AerieREAL role model Iskra Lawrence and model Khoudia Diop to 63-year-old professor and fashion icon Vanessa Redgrave. The campaign is beautiful, intense, and stoic while still feeling real. And decked out in Aerie threads, each of the women look nothing short of gorgeous.

It’s about time the fashion set starts paying attention to the incredible, real life women wearing the clothing. It’s our diversity that makes us so beautiful. With collaborations like this one, we’re sure things will keep changing. Until then, we have Aerie and the All Woman Project to thank.
