What’s the deal with these adult summer camps?

Do you ever long for the days of summer camp back when you were a kid, when your biggest concerns in life were scoring the top bunk or winning first place in the canoe race? Well, then we’ve got good news for you, folks. Because you CAN go to summer camp again. And no, we’re not talking about some far-out time machine that’ll turn the clock back to your 12-year-old days. We’re talking about this weird thing called ~adult summer camps.~

Yep, you can officially pack your bags and head back to summer camp, adult-style.

And while summer camp was pretty kickass as a kid, adult summer camps seem even more awesome. Just hear us out on this one.

At places like Camp No Counselor, you can play like a kid and party like an adult (literally, it’s their motto). Choose from more than 16 locations across the U.S. and Canada, and you can set your own agenda of activities. From slip ‘n’ sliding to zip lining, you can feel like a kid all day long, then switch over to adult mode at night for happy hour and theme parties.

And if they look familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen them on Shark Tank before.

Then there are places like Club Getaway, with a bomb campground that offers everything from adult getaways to weekend wedding parties.

Archery, poker, yoga, kickboxing, wine tastings, water skiing, burlesque lessons, mixology classes and more are all on the menu here.

Soul Camp is a solid option for multitasking adults who want to pair some serious soul searching with serious camping fun. With overnight locations in New York and California, you can make a weekend of your Super Soul Sunday-ing.

While there’s no happy hour at this one, there are soul-enriching activities like yoga, meditation, paddleboarding, dream catcher weaving, indigo dying, trampoline parks and more. Basically, it’s like camp Oprah.

There’s even adult space camp, y’all.

Okay, we’re pretty much sold. A weekend away with our friends doing cool camp activities and (at most places) indulging in a little nightly boozing? Sign us up, mom and dad!
