The Best Vacation Request Ever

Next time you need an extra day off, you might want to enlist an adorable toddler to do your bidding. A little girl named Katie wanted an extra day to hang out with her dad, so she did what any employee might do: she wrote a formal letter requesting time off. Using blue crayon on lined paper, the little girl wrote a note to her Dad’s boss at Google. Get a load of this cuteness:

Just in case the handwriting is a little difficult to decipher, it reads:

Dear Google Worker,

Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off. Like he can get a day off on Wednesday. Because daddy only gets a day off on Saturday.

From Katie

P.S. It is Daddy’s BIRTHDAY!

P.P.S. It is summer, you know.

Because Google is just an organization filled with humans, and regular humans cannot possibly read such a note with out their hearts exploding from the warm and fuzzies therein, Katie’s request was granted. And more than that, the Google employee, Senior Design Manager Daniel Shiplacoff, responded to Katie’s query with another formal letter.

Pretty effective ploy there, Katie. You may have a real career in the corporate world.
