Adele just visited a sick fan in Belfast and melted our hearts

Even though Adele just kicked off her European tour, that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for her to completely inspire us by visiting a sick fan in Belfast. The singer stopped by the home of 12-year-old Rebecca Gibney, who suffers from both cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Like all of us, Rebecca is a big fan of Adele. So much so that her mother, Tracy, launched a social media campaign to bring the singer to their house to lift her daughter’s spirits. Of course, Adele agreed, and thus this touching moment was born:

“I can’t believe it, I’m just over the moon,” Tracy told the Belfast Telegraph. “My daughter got to meet the person that she loved and that’s what I’ll always take with me for the rest of my life.”

We’re sure it’s something that Adele will remember as well, especially since it seems like the two had such a good time.

“Adele played with her hair, and held her hand and asked her all about Frozen,” Tracy continued. “She was really lovely.”

Adele also gave the family free tickets to her concert, proving that hear generosity is as limitless as her talent. We can’t wait to see what other inspiring moments this tour brings!
