Adele threw a “Titanic”-themed 30th birthday party, is officially Kate Winslet’s identical twin
Near, far, wherever we are, our hearts will go on for Adele. The “Hello” singer threw a Titanic-themed party for her 30th birthday on May 5th, and we’re unsure where the James Cameron flick ends and the party begins. Adele looked so much like Kate Winslet’s Rose that we’re having a hard time telling them apart.
Adele shared a few snapshots from the bash (which seemingly took place on a model of the original 1997 Titanic set?) via Instagram. The songstress wore a replica of Rose’s sheer sequined dress, and she and her guests partied the night away while wearing 1912-era costumes and antique-style life jackets.
This is seriously the party of the 21st century — or perhaps, 20th century?
"Dirty 30! I’m not sure what I’m going to do for the next 30 years as I’ve been blessed beyond words in my life so far," Adele captioned the black and white shots she shared on her Instagram. "Thank you to everyone for coming along for the ride the last 11 years with me. My family and friends for entertaining my super fandom of the Titanic movie. Last night was the best night of my life...I’m absolutely fucked, not sure I’ll make it out the house again! "
Adele has been a self-proclaimed Titanic superfan since the film’s 1997 release. She even wore a Titanic shirt when she attended a Céline Dion concert in January 2018.
And in pure humble Adele fashion, she praised Childish Gambino for his work on “This Is America” within her own birthday post. She wrote,
"Ps Childish Gambino how the hell do you have time to offer us so much greatness on so many platforms. I adore you x."
Happy 30th, Adele! Your birthday party is officially the one to beat. Now someone send these pictures to Kate Winslet immediately. She needs to see this.
