Adele just posted the most epic throwback to show her Spice Girls reunion excitement
After months of hints and rumors, it’s finally happening: The Spice Girls are officially reuniting for a 2019 tour (minus Posh). Melanie Brown, Geri Horner (formerly Halliwell), Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton revealed in a video today, November 5th, that four members of the band will be teaming up once again, and their surprise announcement left fans around the world stoked to see the iconic ’90s girl group back in action. Even British songstress/our forever shero Adele was elated to hear the news, and she posted the perfect throwback picture to prove it.
The Grammy Award-winning singer shared her excitement in an Instagram post showing a picture of herself as a tween in front of a wall literally plastered in Spice Girls posters.
"HA! This is how I feel right now!" she captioned it. "I AM READY!"
Same, little Adele. Same.
And it turns out the feeling is mutual. Horner (aka Ginger Spice) shared Adele’s post to her own Instagram page, showing the singer some love by tagging her and adding heart emojis.
We’re not surprised to see Adele so pumped about the Spice Girls news. The singer is a known superfan of the ’90s group, and in 2016, she even sang along to “Wannabe” in a Carpool Karaoke segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

So far, the Spice Girls Reunion Tour is limited to stops in the U.K., although we’re holding out hope that they’ll expand the tour to other countries eventually. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 10th at 10:30 a.m. ET, and you’ll be able to purchase them on Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours.
The Spice Girls reunion announcement—and Adele’s throwback post—are just what we needed to spice up our lives today.
