Adele wonderfully let her son dress as a Disney princess because she’s a great mom

Just when we thought Adele couldn’t be any more awesome, her parenting has got the world saying YAAAAS. Why? Because she let her son, Angelo, dress as his fave Disney character…who just happened to be Anna from Frozen, because any child can be a Disney princess.

Recently, Twitter user Marc tweeted the most precious picture of Adele, Angelo, and dad Simon Konecki at Disneyland, and everyone was all smiles—us included:

We are all for Adele’s awesome parenting decision to let her son be whoever he wants to be. After all, the idea that only girls can be princesses is a ridiculous and outdated gender norm, and if a boy wants to be the amazing and inspiring Anna, why can’t he? We think Angelo looks pretty fab, TBH.

Of course, we already knew that Adele will always put Angelo’s interests first. He’s her main inspiration, and one of her new songs, “Sweetest Devotion,” is all about him.

“The song is all about my kid,” Adele told USA Today back in November. “The way I’ve described it is that something much bigger has happened in my life. I love that my life is now about someone else.”

But Adele aims to keep Angelo out of the spotlight until he’s old enough. “I don’t want that for [Angelo] until he can start making his own decisions,” she told USA Today then. “Right now he can choose if he wants a bag of crisps or a banana, but he can’t make a choice about being in the public eye. If when he’s 16 he wants to be known for being my child, he can do that. But right now he’s very much a minor, and we have vowed to make that decision for him.”

Adele: Killer vocalist, amazing mom, and destroyer of gender norms.
