The Internet is convinced this is a sneak peek of Adele’s new song

Last time our ears were graced with a new Adele song, the year was 2012 and the song was “Skyfall.” It won an Oscar, a Grammy, and a Golden Globe (Translation: Adele’s last song literally won half an EGOT, like that’s no big deal). And the year before that in 2011, Adele released her last album 21, and it alone won seven Grammys. While it’s plausible that finding places for all those awards in your home can take a very long time, it’s now been THREE YEARS  since we last heard a sweet Adele song. It’s about time that changed, and it maybe just did.

Supposedly, Adele has released a sneak-peak at one of her latest songs, and as you can expect, everyone is freaking out about it.

But let’s backtrack: Adele has had a long-awaited third album in the works for eons now (OK, maybe just like a year), and it is reportedly dropping in November. Usually before an album drops, a single or two is released. But there is no official Adele single as of yet, and it is October 19th.

However, there is a new commercial set to some beautiful and soulful music that sounds a lot like Adele, and this could be it, you guys. Brace yourselves.

I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet to go over everything. They say that time’s supposed to heal ya. But I ain’t done much healing,” and then a very ominous “

The snippet is literally 25 seconds long, but it is 25 seconds of straight up FEELS that leave you with CHILLS.

Keep in mind it’s still not confirmed that this is in fact Adele. But it’s October, and not April Fools, and Adele is not one to toy with our emotions. She only gives us emotions. This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship with her next album.

Stay tuned for any more updates on this very important Adele Watch.
