Adele might be in a movie with Jon Snow, we mean, Kit Harrington
From Lady Gaga popping up in FX’s “American Horror Story,” to Ariana Grande getting slashed on “Scream Queens,” pop stars have been pretty sick with the acting bug as of late. Though this latest news has us all humming with glee: the reigning queen of break-up anthems herself, Adele will soon grace our silver screens.
Well, “perhaps” is the operative here. According to Deadline, the British Singer is in talks to do a cameo in Canadian director Xavier Dolan’s English-language debut film, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.
But that’s not the only juicy part: the beehive hairdo ambassador and champion of cat-eye make-up may ALSO be co-starring with Game of Thrones’ own Kit Harrington (AKA Jon Snow). We’d die for just ONE video from set of her telling him, “he knows nothing” in her trademark British lilt, but for now we’ll just have to settle for all that sweet Brit-on-Brit fan fiction.
Another notable detail to this movie news? The director is only TWENTY-SIX YEARS OLD. That’s right, Dolan is barely ankle-deep in a quarter-life crisis, and probably somewhere talking about how Ducktales should really be making a comeback to his millennial contemporaries.
Regardless, we’re stoked for this potential pairing and can only speculate what kind of role the diva could be playing. A soulful girl on the subway? A soulful co-worker in a Law office? A soulful best friend of the girl you’re trying to get but end up falling in love with because you discover that the “best things have been under your nose the entire time”? Why not all three? Director Dolan, take note.
