Adele, Jimmy Fallon, and The Roots prove “Hello” is even better with classroom instruments

Adele has blessed us with quite a few live renditions of “Hello,” and we love every single one. But during her recent appearance on The Tonight Show, she dropped the version of her hit that we all needed. After killing it on Fallon Monday night, she returned last night with this joyful “Hello” this remix. That’s right — Adele, Jimmy Fallon, and The Roots gave “Hello” the classroom instrument treatment.

Of course it’s just as dramatic and powerful when performed on banana maracas and a xylophone. Adele definitely gives the vocals her all, and rocks that lime-green flip phone.

The performance takes you straight back to that kindergarten break up that rocked recess. It’s definitely our new favorite!
