FYI Adele’s album sales are absolutely bonkers

Look out, Taylor Swift! Adele is coming for your crown.

In just three days, Adele has sold 2.3 million copies of her album, 25, in the United States alone. The album is projected to hit hte 2.9 million mark in its first full week, surpassing the sales of *NSYNC’s 2000 album, No Strings Attached. It would also be the best selling album of 2015, dethroning Taylor Swift’s 1989, which has sold 1.74 million so far this year. Talk about bonkers.

Considering the fact that “Hello” hit three straight weeks of over 400,000 digital sales, Adele’s insane album sales should come as no surprise. Not to mention, she sold over 11 million copies of her second album, 21, in the states. But let’s be real: It seems this type of success comes naturally for Adele.
