Netflix’s latest movie stars Adam Scott and his stepson, the Antichrist
What do you get when you combine the comedy stylings of Adam Scott with a demonic little child? That would have to be Little Evil, a hilariously bizarre Netflix movie, which looks to be one part horror, one part comedy, and one part WTF.
The film follows Gary (Adam Scott), his new wife Samantha (Evangeline Lilly) and Samantha’s son — who has some seriously spooky tendencies.
From what we can tell from the trailer, it looks like Gary gets (understandably) suspicious when his stepson creepily banishes him from the room with a puppet, lights a birthday clown on fire, and more.
It turns out his stepson is the Antichrist trying to achieve world domination, because Samantha conceived the child back when she was in a doomsday cult (YIKES).

Basically, it’s your typical horror movie, but with a comedic twist — which is something we can definitely get down with.
"One of the horror genres that always captivated me was the devil-child movies of the '70s and '80s," the film's writer-director Eli Craig told BuzzFeed. "Rosemary's Baby, The Omen, Children of the Corn — I wanted to do a different take on that."
Craig added that it was cool to get to create a sort of movie “mashup” and combine a whole slew of different genres to make the film. Plus, he said that despite the whole fantastical Antichrist element, the movie’s general concept isn’t so far from reality.
"Every kid kind of seems like a devil child," he said. "I have a three-year-old right now who acts like a little dictator. I think the metaphor everyone can understand is we're all raising devil children."
Little Evil lands on Netflix on September 1st.
