Today in celeb babies that we’re totally ready to babysit
BRAND NEW BABY ALERT. This is also a super important baby — not that all babies aren’t super important and wonderful — but this baby brings back thousands of mid-2000s FEELS. From now on, Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf can call themselves proud parents of a brand new bundle of joy.
THAT’S RIGHT. Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, have welcomed their first child together. The couple is notorious for being super camera-shy, and that is perfectly fine. Live your life away from the photographers! We totally understand! News of Meester’s pregnancy was only first spotted back in May. Heck, we didn’t even know they were an official item until they were engaged. Shortly thereafter, surprise wedding. So it’s really no shock that the newest addition to their family is also top-secret.
BUT, as People reports, the couple welcomed a darling baby girl back in August, and this means one day she’ll wear so many fancy, splashy headbands — or she can read comics, that’d be awesome too.
The baby’s name? Arlo Day Brody. TOO CUTE. And get this: Arlo is typically a boy’s name. Which means that Arlo Day and James Reynolds already have a TON in common aside from just having moms who used to hang out on the Upper East Side.
A thousand, million congrats to the couple on this ridiculously happy day. Welcome to the world, Arlo. You’ve got SO MANY Josh Schwartz shows to binge when you grow up, and if you ever need a few wise O.C. and Gossip Girl historians, let us know, we’re ready to babysit.
