Seth Rogen reading from “Clueless” is utterly hilarious

There’s no one else who could ever play the role of Cher in Clueless, because 90’s Alicia Silverstone IS that character, inside and out. But if we had to pick a back up for her, yeah, it’d probably be Seth Rogen.

In a new video from W Magazine, Rogen, Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Paul Dano all try to do their best “as if” impression. The exact part they’re reading is the iconic (YES, iconic) scene when Cher is talking about how the Hatians (or, the “Hate-e-ans”) don’t need to R.S.V.P. to come to America. They can just come as long as we put out enough seats out at the Garden Party!Watch this on The Scene.

Though it’s tough to recast the role of Cher Horowitz, we are going to have to give it to Rogen, who brings a lot of sass and spirit to his reading. He can most certainly roll with the homies. But how do you think he’ll play against forever-young Paul Rudd, who will once again reprise his role as Josh in this 2016 half-gender swapped Clueless remake of our dreams? Gonna daydream about that for the next five hours.
