Apparently A-List actors are trying to bribe their way on to “Game of Thrones”

While we might expect this from fans and obsessives (okay, we’d totally do it, too), it seems that A-list actors are trying to bribe their way on to Game of Thrones.

The hit HBO fantasy show, which is currently filming its seventh season, is based on the A Song of Ice and Fire books by George R.R. Martin, and has helped launched the careers of newcomers like Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington, who play Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow respectively.

Now casting director Carla Strange has opened up about the famous faces who have actually tried to buy their way on to the show.

Speaking to Metro, Strange spoke about all the “gifts” she and the other producers get sent.

"We get really strange things and letters and emails from people trying to get out attention," she said. "One person sent playing cards where every playing card has their face on it doing a different emotion. Really classy."

Game of Thrones is no stranger to a famous face.

The show has seen cameos from the likes of Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and Sigur Ros. Similarly, acting stalwarts like Richard E. Grant have also had bit-parts in the show.

Despite her candor, however, Strange was reluctant to share any names of stars who had tried to bribe their way on to the show.

"The stars generally go to the producers directly but then they have a hard time trying to figure out where to put them," she exlained. "There are only so many cameos that you can have!"

Strange also told how stars harassed the producers of the show almost “365 days a year”, and she even detailed some of the things people have sent her to try and win a place on the show.

"Someone even sent me a Stormtrooper with a sticker of themselves on it. I’ve had people send Kit Kats. You get very random things in the post," she said.

Omg, we’re SO curious as to who might have tried to buy their way on to the show. There are so many actors that we think would be great in the show, that we don’t know where to start. Imagine how cool it would be if, like, Millie Bobby Brown was in Game of Thrones, or what about someone like Jessica Chastain?
