ABC just released its ’25 Days of Christmas’ lineup and it’s filling us with pure holiday joy

It’s been three days since Halloween, so by my calculations that MUST mean we’re already three days into the Christmas season! I know, I KNOW, it feels like it’s a little too early for all this holiday cheer, but let’s look on the bright side of this: it’s almost time for ABC’s 25 Days of Christmas.

ABC Family will once again roll out 25 days chock-full of awesome holiday programming, lasting from December 1st right up until Christmas Day. And unlike the 13 Nights of Halloween, this programming lasts ALL DAY — 13 Nights of Halloween only happens at night. That means we’ll get awesome episodes, specials, and movies from morning until night for 25 whole days. It’s like Christmas, but every single day for a whole month.

The entire lineup is a doozy, and you can check it out in full on ABC Family’s Facebook page, where they break everything down hour by hour. The highlights?

Elf — the movie that taught us that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear — airs not once but 12 times, on December 4th at 9:30pm, 5th at 7:15pm, 9th at 8:45pm, 10th at 6:30pm, 12th at 9pm, 13th at 2:15pm, 15th at 8:15pm, 16th at 6pm, 20th at 9:15pm, 21st at 6:30pm, 24th at 8:45pm, and Christmas Day at 5pm.

If you’re a fan of the late ’90s Jonathan Taylor Thomas, you can catch I’ll Be Home For Christmas on December 4th at 4pm and then on the 5th at 10am. That’s not nearly enough JTT, I know. so don’t worry because I’ll Be Home For Christmas actually streams on Netflix every single day.

The Nightmare Before Christmas airs on the 24th at 3:15pm. It also airs on the 5th at 12:30am, 6th at 4:45pm, 20th at 3pm, 21st at 11:15am, and the 25th at 12:30pm.

If How The Grinch Stole Christmas is more your speed, you can find that on December 1st at 9pm, 2nd at 6pm, 5th at 9:30pm, 6th at 6:30pm, 11th at 9pm, and the 12th at 6pm.

Harry Potter only plays once through the 25 days, so bah humbug to that. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone airs Christmas Day at 7:15pm. And FYI: no Home Alone OR Muppets Christmas Carol at all. ABC Family, we’ve got to talk.

But, on the bright side, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation should bring us enough holiday cheer on December 6th at 10pm, 7th at 6:30pm, 10th at 8:45pm, 11th at 6:45pm, 19th at 9:45pm, 20th at 7pm, 23rd at 9:45pm, and the 24th at 6:30pm.

Yeah, this is enough to last us the whole month of December. If you want to see the whole list to play your holiday shopping around your must-views, check out the full list here. Time to start counting down the days till the 25 Days.
