Abbi Jacobson from “Broad City” is hosting a new podcast

If you like her on Broad City, you might want to listen up — literally. Abbi Jacobson is going to host a new podcast, and the focus is one we didn’t see coming — modern art.

Of course, since it’s Jacobson, she’s putting a fun spin on the topic. Teaming up with WNYC Studios and MoMA, she’ll be discussing art that’s a little confusing. And she’ll be doing it within the span of 10 biweekly episodes, airing on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Fans of art will definitely dig her approach. Not only will she have fun celebrities on board to banter with (and yes, one of those is her co-star Hannibal Buress) but she’ll be discussing everything from pop art to performance art.

The podcast will be called A Piece of Work, and episodes will start up on July 10th.

Each episode will have multiple guests, and some guests — like Questlove and Tavi Gevinson — will be appearing in more than one episode. For the first episode, Jacobson will go over everyday objects, and discuss works from Marcel Duchamp and Meret Oppenheim.

If you only know Jacobson from Broad City, you might not know that she actually has a background in art.

She’s a graduate from Maryland Institute College of Art, and has also released two art-related books. (Yes, one is a coloring book, but we’re still counting it.)

The podcast will probably make you even more pumped about the fourth season of Broad City, which is set to air on Comedy Central on August 23rd.
