A Hello Kitty-themed grocery store exists, because dreams do come true

Um, there is now a grocery store where EVERY item is Hello Kitty-themed, so it’s obviously time for us to book a flight to Hong Kong.

The pop-up supermarket will sell Hello Kitty fare, from boxed treats to produce, between now and May 31st from inside Hong Kong’s Yata Supermarket.

Even the shopping carts, grocery bags, and cash registers are Hello Kitty-themed.

According to Apple Daily, the beloved Sanrio character can be spotted inside the pop-up, hard at work as the store manager.

As you can see, preview photos of the store are looking too-cute-to-handle and all-too-Instagram-able, with Hello Kity homages on everything from apples to sushi.

The South China Morning Post concluded that the pop-up could be a stab at boosting sales for Hong Kong’s retail sector, which has faced a “gloomy economic outlook” in recent years.

Well, if anyone can turn things around, our money’s on Hello Kitty.
