You don’t need to get us anything else for the holidays, because Jane Krakowski has joined the cast of “A Christmas Story Live!”

Put down your Red Ryder carbine-action, 200-shot range model air rifles, the ones with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time. This news is so good, we need your full attention. Jane Krakowski — ya know, Jenna Maroney herself — is joining the cast of A Christmas Story Live!

The broadcast of A Christmas Story Live! will be based on the Broadway musical and 1983 comedy film.

As a refresher, A Christmas Story follows a young boy named Ralphie as he and his family celebrate the holidays in 1940s Indiana. It airs for pretty much 24 straight hours on at least one channel every holiday season, so you’ll have plenty of time for a rewatch.

But back to the live musical, Krakowski is set for the role of Miss Shields, aka Ralphie’s teacher.

And we can’t wait to watch Jane steal every scene she’s in! Also joining the cast is Chris Diamantopoulos, whom viewers may recognize as the proud billionaire on Silicon Valley or the sound guy who almost broke up Jim and Pam in Season 9 of The Office. He’s set to play Ralphie’s famously cantankerous father.

Meanwhile, Maya Rudolph is set to play Ralphie’s loving, frazzled mother, as previously announced. And Matthew Broderick will narrate.

Still waiting for word on whether the famous Bumpus Hounds will make an appearance onstage.

A Christmas Story Live! will air Sunday, December 17th at 7 p.m. ET on Fox! We know it’s only October, but it already feels like the most wonderful time of the year.
