The sequel to A Christmas Prince is coming—very soon
If there was ever a time to start planning a holiday-themed Netflix viewing party complete with peppermint cocoa, red-and-green decor, and cozy pajamas, it’s now—because Netflix is bringing A Christmas Prince sequel to the masses. While news of a sequel broke in May (just in time for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding) we finally have a release date for the second-most-anticipated royal wedding of the year.
Drumroll, please…the world’s most lovable (if, okay, not super talented) journalist and her royal beau will be returning to tie the knot on November 30th, just before the holiday season kicks into high gear.
Will the sequel have another adorable sledding scene? Will there be horseback riding in the snow? Will more evil relatives try in vain to snatch the throne? Here’s what we know: A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding takes place a year after Amber (played by iZombie‘s Rose McIver) helped Prince Richard (Ben Lamb) take his rightful crown. The pair will be planning their royal Christmas wedding…and of course, nothing will go smoothly.

As per EW.com, Amber will find herself “second-guessing whether or not she’s cut out to be queen, and Richard is faced with a political crisis that threatens to tarnish not only the holiday season but the future of the kingdom.”
Will Christmas be saved in Aldovia?
All we know for sure is that we can’t wait for November 30th. Oh, and the 53 people who watched A Christmas Prince every day for 18 days straight will probably be pretty psyched about this news, too.
