An 8-year-old girl wrote a letter to Obama, and it’s FREAKING ADORBS
President Obama is basically always cry content for us. Like, every speech he gives, every photo op, and even pictures of him playing with his dog make us emotional. Seriously, has there ever been a sweeter, funnier POTUS?
So we were happy-crying just HEARING about this correspondence between Obama and an incredibly intelligent 8-year-old named Lily.
Lily, who’s concerned about the state of our nation, told President Obama that the country needs more spunk, and that he should try something fun, like wearing a tie dye shirt to an important event and taking his family to Disney World.
She added,
“Also, please say something that will make everyone calm. You do not know how many politics worries I have.”
We just collectively uttered the longest “awwwwww” we ever have uttered in our lives. Yes. Just yes.
Oh, and did we mention that Lily wants to be president as a BACKUP if her plans to be a cardiovascular surgeon fall through. That supremely casual mic drop is even better than Obama’s at the 2016 White House Correspondents Dinner.
