8 health and wellness goddesses you should get to know right now

Seems like just yesterday we were making NYE plans and scribbling down our resolutions hoping to completely transform our lives. Now, it’s April: How are those resolutions coming along? Probably not so great (things happen), and that’s okay because luckily, it’s never too late to start making positive changes towards improving our overall health, wellness, and happiness. And with so many yogis, healers, nutritionists, organic chefs, spiritual gurus, and all-round wellness goddesses using social media to amplify their voices and spread their missions, it has never been easier to access the information needed to help us take that first small step.

The way we view our health has definitely evolved over the years. Today, more people are moving away from external quick coverups or fixes and searching for ways to heal their bodies and improve their minds from the inside using holistic methods. For example, through Ayurvedic medicine — it is one of the world’s oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems and is based on the belief that health and wellness depends on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.

What a time to be alive! The 8 women on this list are completely redefining what it means to be healthy. (Yes, we’re taking notes.)

Fran has established herself as a go-to for all things all-natural for the mind, body, and soul. From the best green smoothies to the most amazing DIY body butters, Fran has all the keys.

I have a lot of different mediums but I work mostly with plant and earth medicine. That's the work that I’m blessed to do. My focus is on channeling ancient hidden wisdom, disseminating it, making it very tangible and accessible for everyone to integrate into their daily lives.
