7 easy, delicious cocktails perfect for Easter brunch

Easter is about a lot of things: History, tradition, religion, and family. And that’s not to mention picnics on the lawn, egg rolls and egg hunts (and major nostalgia) and, of course, Easter brunch. Obviously, things are different this year thanks to coronavirus (COVID-19), but you might still be celebrating at home—and if you are, don’t forget about the drinks. Nothing goes with Easter brunch quite like an Easter cocktail.

So even if your Easter Brunch plans are super low-key, you’ll need a good, fast cocktail recipe on hand.

So what makes a good Easter cocktail? Think, light, spritzy, colorful, berry-ful. Champagne’s a common base, but you can get fancy with Prosecco, or simple with white wine. Or go creamy with half-and-half, vodka, and marshmallows (yep, really). Here are some must-try recipes:

Limoncello Citrus Sangria

This recipe is courtesy of The Marvelous Misadventures of a Foodie. Pour some white wine in a pitcher, add citrus, and top with limoncello—it could not be easier.

Speckled Egg Mimosas

Put some speckled egg candies in some champagne flutes. Add champagne. Drizzle simple syrup. Add blackberries and an edible flower for garnish. The result? Beautiful. Thanks to The Effortless Chic for this recipe.

Cranberry Pear Prosecco Cocktail

Via A Dish of Daily Life: Cranberry juice, pear nectar, and Prosecco combine in this recipe.

Blood Orange Ice Cocktail

This drink contains orange bitters, rose water, and Vermouth Blanc, topped off with ice made of blood orange juice. It’s courtesy of Style Me Pretty.

Blueberry Mojito Royale

From Domesticate Me, this one’s got Prosecco and rum (yum!), with lime juice and blueberries and mint leaves.

Easter Strawberry Champagne

Rose champagne with strawberry puree sounds just like heaven, doesn’t it? This drink comes via The Speckled Palate.

Buzzed Peeps Easter Cocktail

From the Farm Girl Gabs, this cocktail is creamy and boozy. Toasted marshmallow syrup with half & half, cherry vodka, coconut rum, and marshmallow vodka. What?! Want. Now.

So whether your spring favorites are buzzy and berry-full, creamy and sweet, or pastel and bubbly, you are now set for the perfect, breezy brunch at home.
