5 More Celebrity Instagrams You Ought To Be Following

As many of you know, I love INSTAGRAM. It’s my favorite way to keep up with my friends, and also, check out the people I don’t know, like a celebrity. I really like it when a celebrity uses Instagram in a way that gives you some idea as to what their life might be like; an image, a caption, even a story in some cases. I don’t think you even need to be a fan of some of the Instagram users to appreciate their Insta-lives. So here are 5 awesome you might want to follow on Instagram.

1. JAMES FRANCO @jamesfrancotv

If you don’t know who he is, check out Freaks and Geeks. Or IMDB him. For the rest of us, let’s get to it. James posts selfies, which, in my mind, means he gets it. He gets why Instagram is so great: Selfies. See? It’s not just something kids my age are into; it’s for grown-ups too!

But selfies are not enough of a reason to follow someone. You need more, and James gives you more. He is hilarious. And sometimes arty. He’s getting roasted on Comedy Central. That is going to be a whole level of crazy.

The fact that James Franco posted this makes me laugh every time. The irony…

2. QUESTLOVE @questlove

QuestLove (real name is Ahmir Khalib Thompson) is the drummer of The Roots, who currently work on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He is one of my favorites to follow, mostly because his life is like a movie, and he documents it on Instagram for all of us. Also, huge plus: he posts practically every day and a lot of the time, a lot of times during the day.

Right now, he’s grooving on Soul Train and its history. What will he teach us about next week? I don’t know and I can’t wait to find out. Oh yeah, the other thing? He doesn’t just post photos of hanging out with Prince, eating in Tokyo or even the boring-ness of airports; he writes really interesting captions – almost like essays – and when I read it, I feel like I’m part of the scenary. It’s so corny, I know, but that’s how I feel. Or rather, that’s how his Insta makes me feel.

3. LENA DUNHAM @lenadunham

Lena Dunham is the creative older sister I wish I had, and I know this from watching her life go by on Instagram. She posts selfies, pictures from the Girls set, shots of her dog, family and friends; I know that she is surrounded by a lot of people who love her and whom she loves back.

And in her case, her pictures say so much more than just words. It just rocks, you guys. It does.

4. BEYONCE @beyonce

Maybe you’re already one of the 5.7 million people who follow her. And she doesn’t post as much as I would like her to, but when she does, I’m psyched. Her selfies are fierce (yes, I went there) and awesome, she treats every day like a TBT when she posts photos of her Destiny’s Child days and every so often, you’ll see her just like, riding her bike on the bridge or cutting all of her hair off. Like, what? She’s just like us? I love that. I love high-life and the just-like-us glimpses.

It’s all above and Beyoncé for me.

5. TAYLOR SWIFT @taylorswift

Taylor Swift, as an Instagram user, is the Queen of Artsiness. She doesn’t post all that much – I guess she’s busy or something being a pop star – but like Beyoncé, when she does, it’s gold. GOLD, I tell you.

AND, cute cats. Or rather, photos of her cat. It’s ADORABLE!

Okay these are just five. Who do you follow? I hope you’re following Zooey, BTW. This is a selfie she took of us and I put it on Instagram.
