This 3D painting is unlike anything we’ve ever seen

3D art is always pretty trippy to look at, but we just found the trippiest 3D painting we’ve ever seen. Artist Patrick Hughes created the piece titled “Superduperspective,” which is honestly the most accurate description we could have imagined for it.

The painting can be seen IRL at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in Birmingham, UK. But if you can’t make it to the UK today or anytime soon, you can see the amazingness of the piece right here, right now.

From one angle the painting looks like it’s completely 3D, then from another angle it looks flat and could almost pass as a mirror. But then as you move, it looks like the artist dug a long hole in the wall and painted inside of it. Like we said, it’s trippy.
