Here are all the winners from the 2017 Academy Awards, including that *very* surprising ending

The fashion! That monologue! The long-standing feud between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon! The heartstring-tugging musical Moana performance by Auli’i Cravalho! The snacks falling from the sky! The appearance by the real Katherine Johnson! THAT TWIST ENDING! We can’t possibly pick a favorite moment from tonight’s Academy Awards, but we do know a select few folks’ household mantels just got a little more decorative.

We also know that no matter what happened by the end of the night, every person nominated for an Oscar feels like a winner just for getting such a prestigious nod for their work. From the first-time nominees (shout out to Mahershala Ali, who took home his first Oscar tonight!) to the vets like Meryl Streep, who clinched her 20th (yes, TWENTIETH) nomination this year, no one goes home feeling empty-handed. And that’s not hyperbole, considering the crazy swag bags they get.

But we still need to report the winners, so here’s the list!
