13 things people really think about family time during the holidays

The holidays are filled with joy, family reunions, great food, and epic nights of drunken debauchery with friends — all things we love. But going home for the holidays can also bring a host of unwanted emotions, stress, and some of the most socially awkward interactions. You experience so many feelings when you go home for the holidays that sometimes you just can’t wait to get back to your “real life” only to realize how much you miss being home 2 weeks later. Feeling stressed out by the people you love can feel isolating but you’re far from alone. The cycle is endless and kind of wonderful.

At the end of the day and beyond all the stress of the hustle and bustle, we’re mostly grateful for family time during the holidays and we hope you are too.

But let’s see how other people feel.
