This couple recreated the ‘101 Dalmatians’ intro in the name of love
Today in wonderful, heart-melting projects that we just want to share with you because it’s Wednesday and the week feels so long: A romantic photoshoot channeling Disney’s classic film, 101 Dalmatians. Needless to say, it’s making us feel all the heart-eyes.
Here’s the story behind this whimsical act of of love. Awesome humans Corinne Jones and Tony Collier met in 2009 at the University of Illinois. And after they both graduated, they went to work at Walt Disney World. This must have been a dream come true for Ms. Jones (cue Sleeping Beauty‘s “Once Upon a Dream”) because she is especially head-over-heels for 101 Dalmatians.
Eventually the two got engaged, and to celebrate their momentous engagement, this adorable couple asked Corinne’s cousin, photographer Melissa Biggerstaff, to help them recreate the classic Disney movie – minus Cruella De Vil, obvs. The result? Absolute cuteness we cannot get over.
With their two dogs named Izabella and Mookie (who are just as charming as the movie’s very own Pongo and Perdita), both Corinne and Tony captured their love on film. And it’s really, really beautiful.
But for real, these snapshots are spot-on (no pun intended). The soon-to-be-married dynamic duo dressed up just like their Disney counterparts (Roger and Anita). Corinne even wore a mustard yellow flower in her hat and brought a book along for the ride. The best part is that this pair seems to be having the time of their lives in each and every image. Based on this, we have a feeling that their wedding is going to be just as perfect and playful.
