10 times parents have tried to play matchmaker for their kids with very mixed results

Parents meddle! It’s just what they do and we love them for it. But some parents will do *whatever* it takes to see their kids settle down, even if it means going where parents should never be allowed to snoop: on the internet to peruse dating sites to find “appropriate” matches for their children. Like everything else though, this has its pros and cons.

For starters, sometimes, your parents really do know you better than you know yourself. After all, they’re known you your entire life and they remember you from when you were a baby. C’mon, you don’t even remember that! And you know you can trust them because they truly know what’s best for you…or do they? We’re curious to see what happens when parents try to play matchmaker for their kids.

Most of our parents got married pretty early so to them it may seem we’re probably just wasting time in the dating department. As you can see, sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. While we’re grateful for the love and support of our parents we’d definitely prefer if they stayed out of our dating lives, we know you agree!
