There was a rumor circulating the other day that James Blunt was retiring from music. I have to admit that I never really liked his hit song “You’re Beautiful” and I’m not really a fan of his voice. But I was pretty upset namely because I feel like James Blunt never finished “You’re Beautiful.” In it, he speaks of “a plan” to get this girl, but he never fully outlines it. He just says she’s beautiful.

Luckily, the rumor was false. He’s not retiring. And lucky for him, I’ve taken it upon myself to finish his song. I outlined a logical plan I could imagine James Blunt taking in the song below. It is to the same tune as “You’re Beautiful,” so feel free to sing along!

I wish I had paid more attention,
